One High Point family is grateful to be alive as they rebuild after Tropical Storm Debby [Video]

As Tropical Storm Debby, now known as Tropical Depression Debby, makes its way out of North Carolina, Triad families are now rebuilding from the damage she left behind.One High Point family opened up about waking up and finding a tree on top of them.Homeowner Judy Young says it’s a miracle that she and her sons are even alive.”I couldn’t believe what happened. And how God spared their lives. Because this (the house) you can replace – these guys you can’t,” she said.Judy says that around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, her family woke up to the crash of a tree into her home on Arrowhead Court. She said it sounded like an explosion. This is the inside of their house now-The tree fell directly into the bedrooms of her two sons.Young’s son, Jean Festo, said it was a very close call.”All of us are just thankful to be alive,” he said. …
