Officials give updates on available aid for those impacted by historic flood damage [Video]

MONROE, Conn. (WFSB) – More help is on the way for businesses and homeowners in Litchfield, New Haven, and Fairfield counties.

Today, officials came together in Monroe to give an update on available aid for those impacted by the historic flood damage in August.

Victims can take advantage of the recently opened business recovery centers.

The centers are for homeowners and business owners who experienced damage.

The centers are run by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Once entering the location, FEMA representatives are on site ready to walk people through the process to get federal financial aid.

“We’re just gathering all our bills because some of the contractors haven’t given us their final bills yet,” said John Royce, Owner, The Waterview.
