SAN ANTONIO — Las Vegas oddsmakers are busy with 2024-25 NBA Draft prop futures and projecting which player will win the next Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) award.

According to oddsmaker BetOnline, San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama is projected to be crowned the new DPOY next season, and it is not even close.

BetOnline has Wemby with a staggering -275 odds that he’ll hold up the award next season.

To round out the top three are Wolves’ Rudy Gobert with +800 odds and Heat’s Bam Adebayo with +1200.

This should not come as a big surprise that Wemby will be the league’s best defender next season.
