PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – If you’re planning to check out a show or game at the Moda Center, there are some new parking rules you want to be aware of.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation, in partnership with people living in the Eliot neighborhood and businesses, created new parking zones. The new zones are designed to keep visitors at the Moda Center off of those neighborhood streets.
Starting Oct. 1, parking north of Northeast Schuyler Street and south of North Page Street will be limited to two-hour time slots, between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., everyday unless you have a Zone V parking permit.
Permits are available to people living in the neighborhood, local businesses, nonprofits, and their employees.
PBOT encourages people visiting the Moda Center to use public transit, off-street parking, or park in the Lloyd Event District.
