NELEA president presents economic growth opportunities in northeast Louisiana [Video]

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The City of West Monroe invited the public to be a part of an economic development discussion on Tuesday (Aug. 27) morning during a community breakfast.

The city held its free ‘Next Level’ Breakfast event at the West Monroe Convention Center featuring President Rob Cleveland of the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance (NELEA).

Local employees and business owners participated in a discussion focusing on growth opportunities for northeast Louisiana. Cleveland said the biggest resources the region has that are an economic driver for the area are certified sites and quality property that’s ideal for attracting companies of all sizes.

“We have great sites like the Millhaven site, the Charleston Industrial Park, the Calhoun site – are just a few of the certified sites and resources and they are among the best in the state of Louisiana,” said Cleveland.
