Nebraskas youngest entrepreneur moves into new location at Inner Rail [Video]

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Roll N’ Sweets new location, owned by a’Ron Karon Watt-Burns, is in Aksarben Village’s Inner Rail Food Hall.

Two years ago, when 6 News first interviewed him, he was the youngest restaurant owner in Nebraska at 17 years old. At the time he told 6 News his vision was to provide a safe space for a sweet treat.

“It’s an emotional support food, so it would also help me connect me to people who are going through things that I might not know but the ice cream would help,” said Watt-Burns, in 2022.

Two years later, it still is.

He opened his first store in North Omaha, but his mom fell ill and spent time in the hospital.

“I came with a game plan,” said now-19-year-old, Watt-Burns. “I sat there. I would go to the hospital with the mind that I needed to get the store back open, but I also needed to take care of family.”
