Murder suspect says he was defending his daughters [Video]

28-year-old Joshua Jones was shot and killed inside a business on Post Road on Indy’s east side.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police have arrested a man on a preliminary charge of murder, for a deadly shooting inside a plasma center on the east side of Indianapolis. 

28-year-old Joshua Jones was shot and killed on Oct. 29, inside the plasma center in the 3600 block of North Post Road, near 36th street. 

Police say the man who killed Jones called them from his home and said “I got my gun that I shot the victim with” next to him on the couch. 

According to court records, the man said he wanted to tell the police that he shot someone and why, so there would not be any confusion.
