Morristown Hamblen Humane Society takes in 29 more dogs while on parvo quarantine [Video]

The humane society said Thursday it also took in five dogs during the quarantine because they were found living in a home with a dead person.

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — The staff at the Morristown Hamblen Humane Society took in dozens of dogs on Friday, while also managing a quarantine due to a parvo case and a separate influx of animals that needed help.

The humane society said on social media it took in 29 dogs and puppies from animal control and said the animals had no choice but to go to the humane society. While staff works on getting them settled in and figuring out the kind of care they need, they will also continue caring for five other large dogs that were brought in on Thursday.
