March Madness: Sports betting in New York [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The brackets are set and the bets are underway for the opening weekend of March Madness.

This is a time many sports fans bet on games, and last year it was legally allowed in New York State.

Since then, nearly $1 billion was generated for the state. And those numbers are only going to get higher, especially this month. Most of that money goes towards education.
