MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – A devastating motorcycle crash in the town of Washington in Shawano County Saturday afternoon has left a Manitowoc couple in the hospital with severe injuries.
“Tina is in the ICU in critical condition. She is undergoing additional surgeries,” Amber Daugs, Grow It Forward founder and CEO, said of her friends Tina and Jason Prigge, who has a shattered leg. “I’ve known Jason and Tina for well over 20 years now.”
The Manitowoc couple are self-employed entrepreneurs with their company Vagabond Creative Studio and are well-known and heavily involved in the Lakeshore community. They were returning from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Saturday when friends say a driver swerved into their lane near the intersection of County Road R and Lily Pond Road.
