A man was taken to the hospital for minor burns on his hands.
MIDDLETON, Idaho — The Middleton-Star Fire Department extinguished a house fire in Middleton early Monday morning.
At roughly 6:30 a.m. on Monday, fire crews were dispatched to a small structure fire in the 17000 block of Hollow Road in Middleton.
When crews arrived, they found a double-wide home in flames. According to a news release, crews made a quick attack from outside the home. Then, they began to work on finding the “hidden fire” inside the home.
Middleton-Star Fire Chief Greg Timinsky said, “when they arrived, the double-wide was 50% engulfed in flames. They were able to contain the fire by 6:52 a.m.”
The cause is under investigation, said the Middleton-Star Fire Department.
