The unidentified man was pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person died following a shooting in northeast Columbus Tuesday evening.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers received a ShotSpotter alert around 7:04 p.m. in the 2200 block of Parkwood Avenue.
Sgt. Joe Albert said officers found a man behind what is believed to be a vacant business at the corner of Parkwood Avenue and East Hudson Street.
The unidentified man was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Albert said homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
