LONGVIEW, Texas — A fire broke out shortly after midnight Friday at the Longview ISD Education Support Center, causing significant damage to the northwest wing of the building.

Due to the extent of the damage, the building will be closed today, but Education Support Center staff are encouraged to work from home. Staff are also reminded to attend the scheduled sendoff event at 1:30 p.m. at Longview High School.
