SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) – Sullivan leaders celebrated the groundbreaking of a new housing project Monday morning.
It’s all a part of Thrive West Central’s Homes for the Future program. The development is called the Wabash Project.
Nine single-family homes will be built in downtown Sullivan. They will have both one and two-story homes, offering around 1,200 to 1,500 square feet.
“It’s really an exciting thing where folks can have easy access to the city, with the restaurants, the businesses in the city of Sullivan, and also very easy access to the lake,” said Troy Stanton, President of Bricks & Gables, the company behind the development.
Construction is expected to wrap up by September of 2025. These homes will be near the corner of East Washington Street and Holloway Street.
