What: “The Trial,” a short film urging Americans to protect abortion access by drawing parallels between the infamous witch trials of the late 1600s, and the current political landscape.
When & Where: The North American campaign is in market now, running across digital and social, as well as a dedicated microsite. The full five-minute version of “The Trial” will also be entered into film festivals around the world, while a 90-second version is running on AMC Networks.
Why: The campaign was inspired by the 2022 overturning of Roe v. Wade, which ended the federal constitutional right to abortion in the United States, and was followed by abortion bans and restrictions across much of the country.
