Home retailer JYSK plans to open a new head office in Park West as well as five stores across the country this year.
The announcement comes after a record-breaking year for the Danish group’s UK & Ireland subsidiary, which announced 13.6% turnover growth for its 2023/24 financial year.
The company brought in revenue of €120m for the year, and has achieved double-digit growth in sales and customer numbers in its first quarter compared to last year.
The new head office at the Park West business park represents an investment of €250,000 and will house up to 50 employees across all departments.
It is a separate office space to the 8,000 sq ft ‘dark store’ opened by JYSK in November, which is intended to reduce delivery times.
This is the second head office move by JYSK since it launched in Ireland to keep up with the company’s growth in this market.
