INDIANAPOLIS — It started at 12:45 p.m.

Ryan Day walked up the handful of steps to the stage before adjusting the height of his microphone and grasping the sides of the podium before addressing questions.

About 15 minutes later, after his session at the main stage ended, he walked back down those steps.

On the other end, cameras waited. That’s where he leaned into microphones while answering questions from an abundance of television reporters.

Around 3 p.m., he made one of his numerous appearances on radio row.

That’s where he slipped on headphones and fielded questions from a variety of live broadcasts and podcasts.

Eventually, he got to 3:30 p.m.

That’s when Day reached one of his final stops at Big Ten Media Days.

He sat on a stage for his last prolonged question-and-answer session. Wrapping up a busy Tuesday in talking season, Day fielded (for the umpteenth and final time) a question hovering all day.
