LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — When you do good, good things happen. That’s a life lesson Cedric Goodrich, grandfather and guardian to Shane Crowe and Mason Goodrich, hopes his grandsons will carry with them forever.
“Sometimes you get instant karma,” Goodrich reflected. “You do good, and you’re instantly rewarded for it. The only thing that comes from doing bad is consequences. I’d rather put out as much good as possible and have that good come back than do something bad and hope nothing happens.”
Goodrich’s words have already rung true. After WDRB featured Shane and Mason shoveling sidewalks for free in their neighborhood last week, a viewer was inspired to step up and gift them a snow blower to help their efforts.
