The Ohio State Highway Patrol is hiring and they recently gave WTOL 11 an exclusive inside look inside their academy in Columbus.
“It never gets easier, but you get better,” Ethan Grimm, a cadet in the 175th class said.
Grimm, a 23-year-old Cadet, is currently taking part in the 28-week OSHP academy.
“I just knew I wanted a job that was different every day,” Grimm said. “I don’t want a complacent desk job, I want a job that I have the opportunity to grow and see new things on a daily basis.”
Grimm and 39 other cadets eat, sleep, study and live together, working as a team toward their goal of being an Ohio state trooper.
