Indy man gets 51 years for dealing resulting in death [Video]

Court documents say four men purchased what they thought was cocaine from Kristofer Polk. However, police say the substance was actually fentanyl.

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man will spend roughly half a century in prison after being convicted of dealing fentanyl that caused the deaths of two people. 

Kristofer Polk was sentenced Friday, Jan. 24 to 51 years in an Indiana prison after he was convicted of two felony counts of dealing a controlled substance resulting in death. 

According to court documents, on May 23, 2023, a woman returned home from work and found her fiancé and three other men unconscious. When police arrived, they discovered two of the men were still alive, but the woman’s fiancé and another man were pronounced dead.
