CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Residents, visitors and business owners in the Coastal Bend spent much of the weekend hoping they would not face damage caused by Tropical Storm Beryl.
Most of the region dodged the system’s impact and the beachfront now appears calm and warm.
The Padre Island National Seashore posted on social media Tuesday, saying that the park has fully reopened, and asking visitors to exercise caution if they plan to drive beyond MM30.
“The beach is very narrow in some areas and could be challenging to navigate during high tide,” read the post.
Park officials say that there is a lot of large tree debris scattered on the beach.
