LAPWAI, Idaho — The Gwen and Texas wildfires in North Idaho are nearly 100% contained and now Idaho Governor Brad Little is going to see the devastation first-hand Thursday.
Governor Little travelled via black hawk helicopter to Lapwai where the Gwen Fire destroyed homes and businesses.

The governor will get an update of firefighting efforts as well as speak with community members impacted by the fires.
The total number of structures destroyed is also expected to be released at that time.
