But once the rebuilding starts, the Moore’s said anything long journey is ahead. They lost their home in 2007 to a wildfire in San Diego. Then, it took them over three years to work with their insurance company to get money back from their loss.
“It’s like a full-time job,” Tom Moore said.
Moore built his home, which burned down himself, so he said he knew it better than anyone. Still, his insurance company had to make sure what he was saying it was worth was actually true.
