I-Team: More businesses say Paier College owes them money [Video]

(WFSB) – The I-Team is uncovering more businesses who say Paier College owes them money.

The I-Team was the first to report that a state investigation says the school cannot reopen this fall, in part because of unpaid bills.

After our report aired, the owner of Hull’s Art Supply & Framing in New Haven, Shawn Szirbik, reached out saying Paier College also owes him thousands of dollars.

For years Hull’s Art Supply has partnered with Paier College to provide supplies.

“We did kit business with them. Professors would decide what they wanted. They would just have to order it online and we’d deliver it right to the classroom,” said Szirbik.

Those tens of thousands of dollars worth of revenue for Hull’s are now gone since Paier hasn’t opened for the fall semester.
