GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – This Arctic air can be dangerous — even more dangerous than the cold snap a week ago — and we need to take the temperatures for the next couple of days seriously.
On these days it’s easier to get frostbite and hypothermia. It will be so cold on Tuesday, frostbite can start in as little as 10 minutes on exposed skin.
If you’re off work Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, it’s a good idea to minimize travel.
Stay inside as much as you can. If you need to travel, keep a winter survival kit in your vehicle including blankets.
Brown County Public Health reminds people to dress in loose layers that cover all exposed skin.
Consume warm or hot foods and drinks.
Check on loved ones.
