HERMON, Maine (WABI) – We’re hearing more from people who knew Ellisha Krutuleski, the Bucksport woman now under investigation for animal cruelty.
Devon Curtis is the owner of Devon’s Kitchen in Hermon.
She adopted two dogs from Coastal Dreams, whose owner, 44-year old Krutuleski, is now under investigation for animal cruelty.
At the time, Curtis wanted to help the rescue facility, seeing as so many dogs needed homes.
Curtis offered up her business as a place to do fundraisers.
They did several supply drives, bringing in food, bedding and more.
Curtis also held adoption events.
She tells TV5 that when Krutuleski needed to spend some time in the hospital, she posted on Facebook that the dogs were taken care of.
But then, about two weeks ago, Curtis got a message from a volunteer, who revealed some disturbing details.
