SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Customers of a local bank will see their accounts moved to a new company next month.
Levo Credit Union of Sioux Falls has purchased the Heritage Bank Branch at 4530 Singing Hills Boulevard in Sioux City. Regulators for both banks and credit unions have signed off on the purchase.
The official opening of that branch is set for Jan. 21. Current Heritage Bank branch employees will transfer over to Levo as will most accounts and loans.
This purchase is part of Levo’s plans to expand from serving four counties in the Sioux Falls metro to 29 counties along the I-29 corridor in Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota.
