CONCORD, N.C. — Hendrick Motorsports appears to be teeing up another major investment into advanced manufacturing in Concord.
Concord City Council is scheduled on Jan. 9 to consider an incentives grant for HSREI LLC, which is managed by Hendrick Motorsports. The entity is proposing a $35 million investment to develop a 260,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility adjacent to the Hendrick Motorsports campus.
City documents state the facility will be designed to “attract a premier advanced manufacturing tenant.” The proposed incentives for the project have an estimated value of $124,950, city documents state.
