Flour Bluff ISD responds to hot school bus concerns [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Flour Bluff ISD parent told 3NEWS some of the district’s buses do not have working air conditioners. 

On Tuesday, 3NEWS caught up with the district and a car dealership that stepped up to help.

It started with a social media post from a parent complaining that her kids were overheated on the way home because the air conditioning systems on their Flour Bluff school buses were not working. 

That’s when Assistant Director of Operations Zach Graf stepped up to reassure parents.

“We had received a lot of emails, phone calls, a little bit of social media present from parents telling us that, you know, we had hot buses,” he said.
