The boy started a teddy bear drive with a goal to provide one for every kid in the hospital.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Jayceon Jackson is a seven-year-old with spinal muscular atrophy. He spent time at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
In November of 2023, Jackson was told he was going home. He thought this meant all the kids got to go. He was upset when he realized it was just him. His birthday was two months later, and he used his birthday wish to make a difference.
He wished that every kid in the children’s hospital could get a teddy bear. He picked teddy bears because they are a “classic”.
The community rallied around the Jackson family. Families from all over the United States donated teddy bears to help. Some donations even came from city’s like Tokyo outside …
