Police found the woman Wednesday morning at a home on Larkin Street.
BANGOR, Maine — Police are investigating after a female was found dead inside a home in Bangor.
On Wednesday around 9 a.m., the Bangor Police Department was made aware of a possible death on Larkin Street, according to a news release from the department.
Police said they found a female dead within the home on Larkin Street. Her coworker reportedly went to her home after she had not arrived at work Wednesday morning.
Detectives and evidence technicians are still processing the scene and interviewing witnesses, police said.
The female who was found dead will be brought to the medical examiner’s office in Augusta for a post-mortem examination, according to the release.
