FEMA opens Disaster Recovery Center in Louisiana [Video]

The center is open to residents in Ascension, Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, and Terrebonne parishes.

ST. MARY PARISH, La. — FEMA and the State of Louisiana have opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Morgan City to provide one-on-one help to Louisiana residents in certain parishes affected by Hurricane Francine.

It is open to residents in Ascension, Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, and Terrebonne parishes.

No appointment is needed to visit the center.

Residents in those parishes impacted by Hurricane Francine can visit the center to meet with representatives of FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration, along with other community partners who can help with the FEMA Disaster Recovery application process.
