Federal funds are now available to help some of those affected after Tropical Storm Debby damaged homes and businesses in central Pennsylvania.
HARRISBURG, Pa. — Federal funds are on the way for those affected by Tropical Storm Debby in central Pennsylvania.
Those who sustained storm damage in Lycoming and Union counties can now apply for federal relief.
President Biden approved the disaster declaration to help residents and business owners impacted by flash flooding and other storm damage between August 9th and 10th.
According to FEMA, assistance includes grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the storm.
