Kody Hansen was on his way home from work when he died in a head-on collision. His family is now remembering him as a father, husband and friend.
BOISE, Idaho — Ada County paramedic Kody Hansen was less than a mile from home when a driver who was trying to pass a semi-truck collided head-on with his vehicle.
He was on the way home from doing what he loved – which was serving as an Ada County paramedic.
“He would talk to me a lot about when he would get those moments where he would save someone’s life,” said Kyden James, Hansen’s brother.
Kody loved to help people and loved adrenaline – something his family said made him a perfect paramedic. Even more than that, he was the perfect father to his three daughters. His family said the girls and his wife meant the world to him.
