WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Monday, Aug. 26 marked the start of the 2024-2025 academic year at Midwestern State University, with faculty and staff welcoming both current and new students onto campus after the summer break.
Senior business management student Kristyn Gates said she’s excited about returning to campus despite her busy schedule.
“I’m just excited to get it going, get organized, and just stay on top of all my classes. I work for Midwestern State University housing. I’m a resident assistant in Sundance, Black Student Union, and also, I work for a host here at MSU as well, the front desk staff,” Gates said.
Students like Gates are a key reason Priddy Scholar Coordinator Ryan Kelly has set several goals to enhance the student experience this year.
