The Amory Panthers football team are excited to be playing in their brand-new stadium.
AMORY, Miss (WTVA) – The Amory Panthers will be playing a true home game on August 30th for the first time in nearly two years.
In March of 2023 their stadium got destroyed by an EF-3 tornado. An official with the school said they immediately began working on a new stadium the next week. The work for the project began on February 13th of this year.
Amory head football coach Brooks Dampeer says he is looking forward to seeing all the fans check out what’s been worked on this offseason. “As they come through that home entrance I feel as though there will be a great sense of pride,” says Dampeer.
