Eversource crews assist in recovery from Hurricane Helene [Video]

Eversource workers from Connecticut are on their way to Virginia to help restore power in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Caitlin Nuclo, Tracey McCain, Jill Gilardi, and Roger Susanin have the news, weather, and traffic for the morning of Sept. 30.

Educators, parents, and students planned to gather on Monday to advocate for increased federal and state funding for the nation’s public schools.

Dozens of line workers and support teams gathered at Eversource Headquarters over the weekend.

Teachers and others were expected to rally on Monday to lobby for more school funding.
