Downtown Spokane announces new “Skywalk” Challenge [Video]

Explore the newly lit-up sky bridges and complete a Spokane history quiz to win $500 in gift cards to downtown businesses.

The project consists of a light display that will line 8 of the 16 sky bridges in downtown Spokane to highlight key spaces surrounding Riverfront Park.

The challenge attached to the project is an online quiz that will test participants on Spokane’s history. Participating locations along the skywalks will have QR codes that lead players to an online worksheet.

Players who submit a completed worksheet, including all locations and correct answers, will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize valued at $500.

The challenge begins on Friday, July 5 and ends on Thursday, July 18.

One grand prize winner will be drawn randomly on Friday, July 19 to receive a downtown prize package with gift cards to several downtown businesses.
