LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County Fire Department responded to a house fire that killed one animal.
Crews arrived just before 5 p.m. to find fire coming from the home’s patio on Morris St.
According to CFD, firefighters fought through heavy smoke to search the home and found no one inside.
One dog was found dead.
One person was taken to the hospital after sustaining minor burns and struggling to breathe after inhaling smoke.
Officials secured utilities in the area.
Fire investigators are working to determine what started the fire.
