DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver City Council voted on Mayor Mike Johnston’s proposed budget for 2025 on Tuesday afternoon and passed it.
The budget, in part, aims to combat an expected drop in federal funding for several projects, officials said.
Leaders said housing and safety continue to be key funding priorities. According to officials, the city’s general fund is estimated to be up 0.6% from 2024.
