Q&A: What was your first job? “My first job was working at the Speakman Company in Wilmington. As non-union summer help, I worked in the R&D Department. I was 15 years old, so I took the bus to work. I had no idea that 21 years later I would rejoin Speakman as its president.”

The leading business, legal, tax and digital brand services company was established in 1899 by two lawyers, including Ward’s great-grandfather.
