Critical water main struck in Montgomery County; no additional outages expected WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio [Video]

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 7 p.m.:

Officials have provided an update after a “critical” water main break was struck Wednesday.

Field crews checked hydrants in the affected areas and said they had normal water pressure.

Additionally, the 14 homes shown in a map to be affected by the water main break do have water pressure and are not under a boil advisory.

Residents may experience low water pressure or discolored water, but no additional outages are expected, the county said.

The county said they will provide an update Thursday morning pending any emergencies.
