TULSA, Okla. — CASA for Children seeks volunteers to advocate for children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers provide a consistent presence and work directly with children.
Volunteers are appointed by a judge.
“CASA volunteers come from all walks of life. They’re everyday people with a commitment to children who need them the most,” said Suzanne Hughes, Executive Director of CASA for Children. “Our volunteers help provide the stability, support, and advocacy that can be life-changing for a child in foster care.”
The agency offers training to volunteers to ensure they have the skills and resources necessary.
Volunteers agree to a minimum of 10 hours per month and work directly with children, families, and other parties involved.
