A Rancho Palos Verdes home was left with a gaping hole in its roof after a car crash landed on it overnight.
Joann Killeen said she and her husband were about to have dinner in their home Sunday evening when they were interrupted by a loud crash.
“That was a loud sound,” Killeen said. “I thought it was a gas explosion.”
The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. Sunday at their home on the 28000 block of Santona Drive. There, debris remains scattered throughout the property.

“Everything here has to be replaced,” Killeen said.
