HONOLULU (Island News) — Instead of prepping hot pot bowls first thing Friday, Kevin Suehiro enlisted his dad to help him fix the window that burglars smashed in overnight.
“They had to crawl through the window with all the broken glass,” he said.
Thieves took off with about $500, including a couple hundred from his young son’s cash box.
“I think small businesses all over the place are just an easy target,” Suehiro said. “Bash the window in and grab what you can and go.”
And he’s not the only one.
His neighbor on the same block, Chiang-Mai Thai Cuisine, was hit a couple months ago… twice.
