Bully Ray Reveals How He Ended Up Appearing At WrestleMania 40 [Video]

In a recent appearance on the “NotSam Wrestling” podcast, Bully Ray detailed the sequence of events leading up to his participation in WrestleMania 40 earlier this year, where he served as the special guest referee.

Ray officiated the Philadelphia Street Fight between The Pride and The Final Testament on the second night of WrestleMania XL.

Ray said, “Me and Triple H had a brief texting conversation. ‘Here’s the idea. Love it. Done.’ And it happened 48 hours before WrestleMania. I talk about on Busted Open so often about how in the wrestling business it can happen that quickly, and that happened that quickly.
