A broken water main delayed the trial Wednesday for New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers, who is accused of assaulting his girlfriend.Peppers, who was arrested in October and charged with assault, strangulation and possession of drugs after an altercation with his girlfriend at his Braintree apartment, was scheduled to appear in Quincy District Court.Officials said a water main broke outside the courthouse, and all proceedings were rescheduled.
