BBB warns citizens of two companies targeting college students [Video]

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – A company called “Get Course Done” claims to guarantee students an “A” in their coursework. The company called “Processing Direct LLC” claims to assist graduate students with their student loan debt for just a few hundred dollars.

However, both companies have received an “F” rating from the BBB for fraud and are even known to steal students’ personal information.

Wichita Falls President of the BBB of North Central Texas, Monica Horton is urging students to do their due diligence in researching on these types of services, before becoming a victim to shady internet scams.

“We want college students to research the tutors. Obviously, we want you to ask the school for recommendations, ask your professor for recommendations, start there rather than just turning to the internet because that’s where a lot of the scams are hiding,” Horton said.
