Back-to-School: How students face overinvolvement [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) -Many students find different ways to manage their time during the school year so they don’t get overly involved and burnout.

Members of the Ravenswood Marching Band express that they have there own ways of dealing with time management.

“I tend to pride myself on being really good at kind of overloading with stuff.” Chasity Davis said. “So for me, while it can be sometimes overbearing, I’ve found a way to kind of balance everything and I feel like if I wasn’t doing everything I would be losing my mind.”

“My football practice at 6:00, so we split times,” said Jeremy Valencia Perez. So around at 6:00, I sprint to the other side of the football field and get my helmet all on. After that, I sprint back to the band room and get ready to practice again.”
