Anchorage Police Chief Sean Case was the main speaker at this week’s Make It Monday Forum, hosted by the city’s Chamber of Commerce.
Chief Case spoke to the crowd gathered here at the Dena’ina Center about the positive impacts A-P-D can have on the city’s economy. He believes in the idea that a safer community means a stronger economy.
“So think about retail thefts and how that impacts the economy or think about Anchorage being a place where people live work and play and what the neighborhoods look like and what the downtown district looks like.”
Chief Case also hopes that expanding the police force will help fulfill its role in protecting the public and businesses here in Anchorage.
